The Southwest Conference of Mayors is the planning agency for its Members that make up the Southwest Region of the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning. The Conference is the lead agency for programming STP (Surface Transportation Program) funds in the Southwest Region. The Southwest Conference of Mayors plays an active role in local & state highway, transit, bicycle & pedestrian and various other planning programs.
