LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE
The Southwest Conference of Mayors acts as a legislative liaison for its Members while working on municipal issues, interests and concerns. The Conference hosts Legislative Breakfasts where they invite the local Legislators to sit down and have a conversation about issues of mutual concern to the Southwest Conference of Mayors’ Members. The Southwest Conference of Mayors’ staff monitors the legislative activity that occurs in Springfield as well as D.C. and alerts the Southwest Conference of Mayors’ Members of issues of municipal matter.
